Several thoughts, random and from afar:

Worship ~ is a verb not a noun. It is not some place we go, but what we do and who we are. Each and every moment of your day, you decide to live your life on purpose and worship God . . . or not.

The organized church, according to Scripture, is for the equipping of the saints. The communal service is intended to bind us in fellowship and service through the exhortation and teaching.

Which brings me to this controversial assertion ~ Sunday morning worship is no place for the unsaved. I realize that is a radical statement to some. However, "shepherds" (ie. Pastor Dennis) don't birth sheep. "Sheep" birth sheep. That's you and me gathering our tools on Sunday morning and then heading out into the world's delivery room to bring new souls into the Kingdom.

So, I will prayerfully consider Pastor Dennis' blog points. I look forward to your comments as well as I seek to know and be known in your midst.
