We support many missionaries who are laboring around the world to share the good news of Jesus.

The missions organization of our denomination is Mission to the World (MTW).

We also support missionaries sent through other organizations.

  • We have several men involved in the Kairos Ministry . They visit men in the prison throughout the year to share the hope of Christ with them. We come alongside their efforts with support and prayer. kairos-k21-weekend summary-2016
  • We recently started “Saluting Our Civic Servants.” Throughout the year we make goodies for our local police, firemen, EMS, and local government workers. We pray for them and send them cards of appreciation and prayers.
  • People are encouraged to take part in the local “Faith In Action” program in Harrison City.  Through this program, people are able to serve the 60 and older members of our local community so that they can stay in their homes longer.  Example of service are:  changing a light bulb, taking someone to a doctors visit, helping someone get groceries, etc…  While serving our neighbors in love we can look for opportunities to share our faith and pray with them.
  • We hope to start an ESL ministry. The goal of this is to help people from the area learn English better, deepen relationships, and share the hope of Christ with them.
  • There are many other mercy ministries that go on by many of the individuals of our congregation, like mercy meals, hospital visits, and counseling.
