Adult Sunday School
Sunday School is an exciting area for us. For adults there are 4 to 5 classes each quarter.

Our aim is to help promote Christian maturity, so we regularly challenge believers to commit to growing in Christ. The four areas which make up a mature Christian are mirrored in a series of four core classes. One of these curriculum classes is offered each quarter. (They are run consecutively each year.) First is a basic Christian Beliefs class which challenges us to have faith in Christ alone for eternal life. Second is a Christian Habits class. This class challenges us to establish good Christian habits that give us a foundation to grow. Third is a Commitment to Ministry. This class helps us to discover our spiritual gifts. Fourth is the class asking for a Commitment to Mission. Here we are challenged to commit ourselves to leading and loving others toward faith in Jesus.

One class is always a direct Study of the Bible. We believe it is important that the Family of God be fed the Word of God. There is also a Theology class offered most quarters. The class is for anyone, however officer candidates must take this class. Finally, there are special classes offered on other areas of a Christian's life. We have had classes on Raising Children, Marriage, Government and Christians, and Finances.

Small Groups (Bible Study Fellowship Groups)
Most of our congregation gathers in one of our several Small Groups twice a month. These groups meet in a home in different areas of town on different days of the week. Each is led by someone familiar with leading a small group, and most groups are attended by a church Elder. These groups take time to study the Bible in various formats, pray together, and learn to love one another better.

The different Small Groups are listed in the bulletin with the leaders' phone numbers, or you may contact Bob Bodnar by phone (724-864-4758) or email (rebodnar@andrew.cmu.edu) for further information.

Men's Ministry
There are several opportunities for men to gather for ministry.

On Tuesday mornings, gather for open discussion and breakfast at Lumpy's
at  6:30 a.m.

On Wednesday mornings at 6:00 a.m. men gather at the Church for Prayer.

On Thursday mornings at Kings in Greensburg for a bible study at 6:30 a.m.

On Friday mornings at Kings in Monroeville at 7:00 a.m. for a discussion of the previous week's Sunday message.

On the Saturday before the last Sunday of the month, men gather at the church for breakfast between 7:45 and 8:15 followed by devotions and prayer finishing by 9:00. (This is preparation for communion the following Sunday).

For more information, contact Mike Elias by email (mikeeliaspgh@gmail.com).

Women's Ministry
The women’s group in the church is called WIC, for Women in the Church. Contact Penny Durbiano for more information.

There is a Ladies' Bible Study on Wednesday mornings.

Fellowship Events
Our church loves to gather to encourage each other with fellowship and food. Once a month we have a Fellowship Hour after Sunday School, where we enjoy a potluck lunch and good company. We also have many other special events throughout the year.

Mercy Ministry
Our various efforts in Mercy Ministries are primarily led by our board of deacons, who respond to needs in our church family and the community around us.
